DjerdanBures 0
Family-owned, the cafe specializes in a menu consisting of traditional Balkan dishes including the Burek. These savory, flaky pies are made with hand-stretched Phyllo dough that are stuffed with a variety of fillings, including meat, spinach or cheese.
Your kids will love them. Bureks are fun food and make for a change from the usual pizza or calzone that your kids may be addicted to.

The cafe on 31st Avenue is a go-to place for moms and dads coming home from work. You can pick up a meal for the entire family, at a very reasonable price.
Djerdan Cafe has a cute, rustic Eastern European feel to it. The space is not that large, but they do have a few tables, should you want to have a family lunch or dinner here.

The cafe was started back in 1997, by refugees from the Balkan wars. Mom and Dad came to America and worked hard at building their version of the American dream. Now the younger generation continues Djerdan's tasty tradition.

All Burek pies are made fresh daily and the can even get them by the slice.
