Well, the great news is that, now you can go out and enjoy some fantastic food, drinks, comedy and fabulous entertainment ALL under one roof; thanks to the efforts of local Astorians Ella Smith and Powell Leonard. They are the driving force behind Powella Productions, a vibrant company that is already making a positive impact on local businesses. You might already be familiar with Ella and Powell from their popular online comedy/variety series The Kong Show on TV, which airs on a variety of streaming outlets including YOUTUBE, Roku TV and Vimeo.

The Kong Show on TV is not only laugh-out-loud funny, you'll also be treated to an amazing array of guests ranging from magicians and mind readers to musicians and comedic sketch artists. In a way, one could compare the Kong Show on TV to those classic sixties network series such as Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In or the Smothers Brothers. Ella Smith has also recently launched a new talk show "Entertainment With Ella", which is taped over at Astoria's LiveOne.TV studios.

During the show, Ella interviews various Astoria-based personalities from just about every

walk of life. Recent guests at LiveOne.TV has included renowned artist Sophocles Plokamakis, Millie Mojica from Literacy Worx Lab and composer and musician Andrew Cordle. Powella Productions is excited to announce that they will be bringing the Kong Show on TV LIVE and IN-PERSON to one of Astoria's hottest restaurants and bars, the celebrated 3308 Eats N Drinks which is located on Broadway. Only a couple of blocks from the N and W 31st street and Broadway station and a very short walk from the Steinway Street R stop; 3308 is convenient to get to and boasts a very unique and cozy ambiance. It's a great place to chill out, have drinks with friends and, of course, catch a show. Clear your schedule and make plans to attend "The Kong Show: Happy Holidaze", which will be taking place on Monday evening, November 29th, 7 PM at 3308 Eats N Drinks.

It's all about to happen on Sunday, December 11th, from 11 AM to 4 PM, at Burger Village, located on Broadway and 41st street. Get your shopping done as early and easy as you please. On that day you will be able to shop with a wide variety of neighborhood artisan craft-makers and service professionals who are sure to have just what you're looking for.

The stellar line-up of vendors will be headed by none other than Elena Cruz, founder of CareerProz, who will take your resume writing to a whole other level. Also appearing will be Elena's ten-year-old daughter Elizabeth who crafts incredible jewelry. The day would not be complete without some live entertainment courtesy of Ella and Powella Productions.
