Kula Yoga NYC. Fifteen years ago, I opened kula as businesses established and re-established themselves in lower Manhattan as part of the city’s recovery post 9/11. tribeca has transformed to a nearly unrecognizable degree since that date—and the studio has weathered more than a few of its own transformations—but many things remain unchanged. The majority of our teachers and many of our staff have been climbing our famous green stairs for more than ten years, and without them—and you—kula would never have lived up to its namesake: the rad intentional community I’d always intended it to be.
you can still find us on the fourth floor of one of the last walk-up lofts in tribeca—as well as our newest haunt in Soho, and our lone Brooklyn outpost in Williamsburg.
all of our classes are drop-in. it is not necessary to register in advance. many answers to FAQs can be found on this site, but don’t hesitate to holler if you have one that isn’t.
