In 1996, we opened our second location in the innovative food venue known as Chelsea Market.

Our philosophy of work life is to enjoy the way we spend our days. Many of us have changed professions because we love baking, and have made our passion our career. We also value a respectful work environment. It is important to us that we treat our customers, our business associates, and our employees in a professional manner, with kindness and caring. 

From 1996 to August 2012, all of our bread was baked at this location. We moved our bread kitchen to Long Island City (Queens) in 2012. Chelsea Market is a city-block long building that was the former Nabisco Oreo factory. This huge brick building, filled with interesting architectural details is now a must-see for food lovers: a unique and fascinating mix of specialty food stores, house wares, a wine shop, a florist, cafes, and restaurants, as well as the Food Network offices.
 


We offer a full selection of morning pastries, sandwiches and salads, cookies, bars, cupcakes, layer cakes, coffee and espresso beverages. The Demo Kitchen serves Savory Snacks and Thin-Crust Pizzas, hot from the oven, every day at lunch time. We have tables inside and outside of the café so you can relax and enjoy our goodies in this truly unique venue. Or grab a sandwich and sweet treat to go and picnic on the High Line, just one block away!
