Husband-and-wife co-owners Michael & Susy Glick, married to and by the hospitality industry, introduced themselves to the Carnegie Hill area in 2006 when they opened their own Bar/Restaurant BB&R, (Blonde, Brunette and a Redhead) 2nd Avenue @ 90th Street.
The upper east side landscape above 86th Street, although flourishing as a thick residential community was barren of well run, causal fine dining, fun restaurants. In June of 2008, the Glick’s ushered in a new era in their lives when they opened Parlor Steakhouse (1600 3rd Avenue, at 90th Street).
Parlor, re-branded as Parlor Steak & Fish in 2015, concentrates on fresh, local ingredients with an extensive menu featuring Raw Bar, Salads, Classic Appetizers & Entrees, Market Fish and Prime Steak Selections. Becoming equally a FISHHOUSE as well as a STEAKHOUSE has been an important step in the evolution of this neighborhood institution. From whole grilled branzino, dover sole and broiled lobsters to Prime NY Strip, Rib-eye, and Bone-In Milk-fed Veal Chop to name a few, our guests get to dress up their protein with a their choice of unique sauces and a choice of side dish.
