Cait and the Critters. The Borough of Queens prides itself on being one of the most culturally diverse communities in America. From delicious food to amazing art, Queens is home to some of the most talented chefs, designers and painters you could ever hope to meet.
So, it comes as no surprise that the music scene is alive and well from Astoria and Long Island City to Sunnyside and Jackson Heights.
Based out of the quaint neighborhood of Sunnyside is a singer who is creating a great deal of buzz with music-lovers throughout our fair city. Her name is Cait Jones and she is the founder of a group of musicians you really should get to know, Cait and the Critters. A hot jazz band that gives traditional swing music new life, Cait and the Critters will infuse your night with a vibrant energy all of its' own. When a band is happy and swinging, the music just makes you want to get up and move. While you are on the floor dancing up a storm, the lyrics that Cait sings will touch your heart.Her passion for jazz is evident from the opening notes of the band's set until the last encore.
 Cait and the Critter's original take on Jazz standards will reel you in and never, ever let go. Cait and her band have brought their one of a kind, infectious, toe-tapping sounds to venues such as B.B. King's in Times Square and the iconic Woolworth Building.

When your mood is in need of a lift, spending a night out with Caitlin Jones and her talented group of musicians is the perfect way to chase the stress of your day away. Get your dancing shoes on and please keep the following dates in mind. March 8th - Radegast Hall and Biergarten. Showtime is from nine until midnight.

Join in the festivities on April 5th! The location will be a brand new event space that you're sure to love.
The center of all the action will be 38-02 61st Street in the up and coming neighborhood of Woodside, Queens.
Doors open at 8 PM. Don't be late because at 8:30, you won't want to miss out on a complimentary swing dance lesson.
 Throughout the evening there will be a DJ and dancing as well as a cash bar and snacks. Rumor has it that Single Cut Brewery may be providing the beer. More details to follow! At Nine PM, Cait and the band will perform two sets for your enjoyment. This isn't just a sample-sized introduction to their incredible music. The Critters will be on stage, most of the night, with only a thirty-minute break. Admission is only $15, which is a bargain, considering the ton of fun that you can expect to have.
