Inspired by the joy of having friends over for dinner, Bobo opened in the fall of 2007 in a century-old Greenwich Village townhouse.

Chef Cedric Tovar, formerly of Daniel, Peacock Alley at The Waldorf Astoria, and Town, joined Bobo in January 2012. His menus offer a contemporary take on seasonal French classics that celebrate our region’s best ingredients, from fantastic fish and shellfish from the shores of Long Island, to gorgeous duck and produce from the Hudson Valley. His food is simply soulful and tasteful.
