In my opinion, finding housing is the biggest challenge in NYC as a professional from overseas. I would bypass most of the shady and overpriced realtors in this city and go with Literati Group especially if you want flexible lease terms which is a major selling point for Literati. It's a startup company so obviously I can understand some of the dissatisfied reviewers I've seen, but don't let it prevent you from renting from this company as they changed office staff last year and am renewing my lease because of their professionalism, young vibrant staff (meet the PR girl, she's great!) and dormitory-like accommodations. Highly recommend, and the neighborhood, Astoria, is amazing! Greek, Middle eastern, Italian, etc restaurants and lots of bars/pubs. Apply for yourself!!
