At Tonic, Happy Hour is a very sociable occasion. This bar attracts a friendly, nice crowd, mostly from the nearby office towers like Barclay's. These folks love to have fun, but things never get out of hand. Tourists and business travelers from near and afar also love Tonic for its food, drinks and decor.

You can sing your heart out at their Karaoke Nights, which take place on Thursdays from 9 PM to 3 AM and Saturdays, from 10 PM to whenever. Don't be afraid to  bust a couple of moves while you belt out your favorite song. No judgments here. Just fun times.

Tonic's long, non-traditional Happy Hour encompasses the hours from 2 PM until 8 PM, Monday through Friday. House reds and whites are available for $6, as are selected cocktails such as their famous frozen red sangria, the big apple Martini and a really nice Mai Tai. You can quench your thirst with a Budweiser, Bud light, Shocktop or Yuengling for a mere $5.

Their Saturday and Sunday Happy Hour (from 3 to 8 PM), includes the regular Happy Hour deals as well as $25 bucket specials of Heineken or Corona and $55 beer towers, so be sure to bring plenty of company.

When you go out celebrating, it's always a good idea to put some solid food in your tummy. For just $9, you can fill up on happy hour appetizers that are certain to please. Most popular menu items include the Brooklyn chili dip (Tonic's signature chili simmered with Brooklyn lager), the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese nachos platter and the steamed edamame tossed in sea salt.

Besides the delicious bar bites and apps, the kitchen turns out a full menu of entrees, ranging from grilled chicken plates and pasta dishes to fresh crisp salads.

Latitude Bar and Lounge - Times Square

Latitude, a Times Square Happy Hour standout, gives you all the space you need to party hearty. There are no less than four floors here, each one with its own, distinct atmosphere.
Unlike some other bars, where space can be at a premium, you'll never feel closed in or claustrophobic at Latitude.

Let's take a quick tour of these fabulous premises. The first floor features an imposing 36-foot bar. Adjoining the bar area is an intimate dining space.

The second floor consists of two elegant rooms. The billiards room is done up in red vintage style, complete with a lounge area and fireplace. It is the perfect setting for a private dinner. Across the corridor is the newly renovated modern Victorian room. With more of a contemporary feel, this area has a bar, high top seating and ten foot windows which provide a picturesque view of 8th Avenue.

Latitude's third floor houses the very exclusive lavender  executive lounge. With a full bar, this area also has VIP style nook and alcove seating.
When it's warm outside, the management opens up the 4th Floor roof deck, which contains comfy seating and a fully-equipped bar.

On weekdays, Happy Hour has some great deals including the unbelievable price of just $4 for a Bud or Coors light. Wine is also a bargain at only $5 a glass. At Latitude, delicious cocktails go for $6. And this is the premium stuff like a strawberry basil martini, cosmos and margaritas.
 
The bar's signature cosmo is the Georgia peach. Both refreshing and highly energizing, this cocktail consists of Stoli peach vodka, Pallini Peachello, cranberry juice, a splash of Grand Marnier and a twist of lime.

Bring on the heat with their spiced mango margarita, a potent concoction that blends Herradura Silver tequila, mango puree, fresh lime juice and a dash of tobacco.

Latitude's savory menu is highlighted by a tempting array of small plates, sliders, wraps and entrees.

Slider selections are served with French fries. Choices include the classic (4 mini burgers with American cheese and sautιed onions), pulled pork, chicken and the Latin, which are crispy corncakes stuffed with warm, grilled chicken avocado salad.

The kitchen does a perfectly seared 12-ounce shell steak and can't get enough of them fried chicken and waffles.

Tir Na Nog - Times Square

An old-school Irish pub atmosphere blends very nicely with a touch of contemporary cool at Tir Na Nog, one of Times Square's most talked about bars.

Like most Irish  watering holes, Tir Na Nog, has loads of personality and character, much of it coming from the talented and professional barkeeps and wait staff.
The decor, though, has a lot to say as well. You are surrounded by ornate, carved wood furniture made from reclaimed materials. A 45-foot long bar commands center stage. There's more than enough room for everyone who wants to drink and socialize at this masterpiece of a bar.

There are 16 HD TV's on hand, all connected to a state-of-the-art Bose sound system.
But the one thing that you'll be talking about, the next day at work, (besides the great food and drink) is the re-creation of an ancient Celtic cooking pit. This visually arresting bit of Irish history is located in the main bar area, situated under a pane of glass.

Beer, wine and spirits  dominate the drink list at Tit Na Nog. However, they mix up some pretty neat cocktails, as well.

They've got a couple of Happy Hours, daily, from 4 to 7 PM and from 11 PM until 1 AM, featuring $5 beer, wine and select cocktail specials.
You may also enjoy $1 oysters, $3 fish tacos and $5 cheese Quesadillas.

Every Sunday and Monday, they offer a three course Prix Fixe for only $35.

Chefs Matthew Geraghty and Luis Uruchima have put together a taste-tempting Celtic-inspired New American menu.

Lillie's  - Times Square

Looking for the perfect date night happy hour escape? You've found it at Lillie's, a restaurant and bar that's both romantic and vibrant.

Named after the famed 19th Century actress Lillie Langtry (who was a close friend of Edward VII), Lillie's takes you back to another era, without being stuffy or formal about it. You will definitely leave your modern day stress and cares outside the restaurant's door.

Their delightful and extensive cocktail menu is divided into seasonal cocktail and old fashioned sections as well as a corner which is devoted to Lillie's specialties.

Seasonal faves include the Beet Negroni, the maple bacon Martini and the harvest Collins, a crisp, Autumn-inspired blend of Effen cucumber vodka, elder flower liqueur, grapes and flamed rosemary.
The bar's most acclaimed Old Fashioned would have to be The Classic, which consists of Jim Beam, Angostora, a pinch of sugar and a  nice pour of seltzer.
Specialties include their signature Irish coffee (Kilbeggan Irish whiskey, mint syrup, coffee and fresh whipped cream).

The menu here has enough good taste and variety for even the most picky eater in your party of friends. And if you are not a meat-eater, their farro salad and  signature collection of English toasts, are out of this world.

Toast selections include Fontina with arugula and heirloom tomatoes, avocado with green chili relish and smoked eggplant with Kalamata olives and capers.

District Tap House - Times Square

This spacious and friendly Times square saloon boasts an insane selection of craft beer, addicting cocktails and fun for all.

The kitchen's menu is delectable and well-curated.

Light, tapas-style bites include lamb meatballs, warm hummus, goat cheese croquettes, spinach and artichoke dip with fresh pita bread, grilled octopus and some very tasty grilled Pomegranate ginger wings. You can also enjoy a savory skewer of shrimp and chorizo with sliced avocado.

In addition to a fantastic line-up of draft, canned and bottled beers, you can indulge in an upscale, cocktail-sipping experience.
Choose from the perfect Cosmopolitan (Absolut Citron, triple sec, a splash of cranberry juice and a dash of sour mix), the classic French martini with Stoli Vanil, Chambord liqueur and pineapple juice or a Midtown Manhattan. This drink packs a Mike Tyson-like punch with Maker's Mark bourbon and a generous pour of sweet vermouth. It's all topped off with a Maraschino cherry.

Their menu is consistent and delicious. The kitchen is absolutely on point, from appetizers to entrees.

At some bars and restaurants, salads can be a little boring and bland. But not at the Perfect Pint.

Their Big Apple cobb offering is loaded with apple wood smoked bacon, slices of grilled chicken breast, avocado, hard boiled eggs, beefsteak tomatoes, field greens and blue cheese.

You may also choose from the Asian calamari salad, the classic Caesar or the three peppercorn steak salad. You cannot go wrong with any of them.

The kitchen cooks up a terrific lobster bisque and traditional Irish onion soup, as well.
Entrees range from Fish and chips, Irish beef stew and a pistachio salmon dish to penne fantasia. this dish consists of penne pasta surrounded by jumbo shrimp, broccoli florets, sundried tomatoes and a touch of oil and garlic.

All burgers are a meaty half pound of certified Angus beef. The standout has to be the Gaelic burger, which is topped with Irish bacon, cheddar cheese and caramelized onions.
