An old-school Irish pub atmosphere blends very nicely with a touch of contemporary cool at Tir Na Nog, one of Times Square's most talked about bars.

There are 16 HD TV's on hand, all connected to a state-of-the-art Bose sound system.
But the one thing that you'll be talking about, the next day at work, (besides the great food and drink) is the re-creation of an ancient Celtic cooking pit. This visually arresting bit of Irish history is located in the main bar area, situated under a pane of glass.

Beer, wine and spirits  dominate the drink list at Tit Na Nog. However, they mix up some pretty neat cocktails, as well.

They've got a couple of Happy Hours, daily, from 4 to 7 PM and from 11 PM until 1 AM, featuring $5 beer, wine and select cocktail specials.
You may also enjoy $1 oysters, $3 fish tacos and $5 cheese Quesadillas.

Every Sunday and Monday, they offer a three course Prix Fixe for only $35.

Chefs Matthew Geraghty and Luis Uruchima have put together a taste-tempting Celtic-inspired New American menu.
Traditional favorites such as Shepherd's pie and corned beef with cabbage stand side-by-side with inventive dishes like Wild mushroom dumplings and truffle macaroni and cheese.

Even if your friends can't make it, don't hesitate to pop over for a solo drink, when you get out of work. There's something special on tap all the time, during Happy Hour. And you are certain to make some new pals at the bar.

The bartenders here are at the top of their game. That's no surprise, since the staff at the District Tap House have been your "drinking consultants since 1998."
All of their cocktails are made with fresh squeezed juices and natural, house-made syrups.

Great taste and a welcome buzz abounds in every sip of the Manzarita, a cocktail that consists of Herradura silver tequila, St. Germain, lemon and apple juice together with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
For a sip that's truly different, try one of their draft cocktails. The signature drink is the District chili Margarita, which is made with Milagro silver tequila, grapefruit and lime juice, agave light syrup, hot red chilis and cilantro.
The Jungle Bird features dark rum, Campari, Amaro Montenegro, lime juice and pineapple juice.

If you happen to be a teetotaler, don't fret. You can still get in on the fun. Socialize while sipping a glass of San Pellegrino soda, a ginger lime aide or a refreshing grapefruit fizz.

The kitchen's menu is delectable and well-curated.

Light, tapas-style bites include lamb meatballs, warm hummus, goat cheese croquettes, spinach and artichoke dip with fresh pita bread, grilled octopus and some very tasty grilled Pomegranate ginger wings. You can also enjoy a savory skewer of shrimp and chorizo with sliced avocado.

The most popular entrees are the braised short ribs with blue cheese polenta, Bucheron gnocchi in a Porcini cream sauce and the Valencian Paella with striped bass, mussels, calamari, chorizo, rice, tomatoes and piquillo peppers.
