Joe Murray's mission in life, to bring natural and organic change to the salon industry began when he was a young stylist. Joe found that the various dyes and chemicals he had to work with were actually making him sick. For awhile, Joe worked the different shows, during fashion week, styling the model's hair. Burning the candle at both ends, Joe eventually decided to take a break from the business and evaluate just where he was headed in life.
Wanting to take a more holistic approach to life, a refreshed and rejuvenated Joe opened Hale Salon, a green oasis of tranquility that would serve stressed out New Yorkers. Putting together a team of professionals who cared about the environment as musch as he does, Joe recruited several Vidal Sasson-trained stylists to set up shop at Hale.
