Locale - Astoria. This Italian restaurant and bar away from the business and shopping district is a premier dining destinations, particularly if well-prepared Italian food is what you are craving. On seasonably nice days or evenings, the tall glass wrought-iron windows at Locale are thrown wide open to give the entire restaurant a breath of fresh air. And the food is the crown jewel of the evening. We like the "SOHO" feel, the quiet sidewalk tables, the happening bar scene and the chic, industrial interior.
