G-Free NYC market is Manhattan's West Side one-stop gluten-free shopping solution. New York City is a city where you can find anything you want almost any time of the day, or night. This cute little store located on the Upper West Side makes shopping for gluten-free products that actually taste good a lot easier than it used to be. They even have daily gluten-free to-go meals, such as pasta with Bolognese sauce or old-fashioned spaghetti and meatballs.
The knowledgeable owner also offers something called Sample Saturdays. Local, artisan gluten-free bakeries visit the shop and customers enjoy complementary samples. Gone Pie Vegan Bakery recently treated G-Free NYC customers to samples of the salted peanut fudge brownies, chocolate mint hearts, grain-free brownie bites and tahini-lemon cookies. The store also features delicious daily surprises like Better Breads mini banana loaf, Everybody Eats chocolate chip cookies and many other good-for-you gluten-free products. The fridge and freezer section has everything from personal pizzas to veggie burgers.
On the shelves you find dairy-free cheese crackers courtesy of Laurie's Gluten-Free Goodness as well as Meredith's Country Bakery Breads. They also carry gluten-free bagels, cake pops, pita bread and gluten-free pastry sheets for baking. One of the really great things about G-Free NYC is that the owners try out all new products before they decide whether or not to carry them. There's even a small section devoted to gluten-free beauty products and they also deliver to the local area.
