Tribeca's Best Bars, NYC

Tribeca's Best Bars, NYC

Some of the City's best bartenders, delicious cocktails and an ambiance second to none, is what makes these the best bars in Tribeca.

B Flat - Tribeca

This sultry and sexy lounge is most definitely dressed to impress and then some. Styled after an upscale Japanese-style cocktail bar, B Flat has everything that you're looking for from delicious, expertly crafted cocktails and savory bites with wood paneling and low, romantic lighting.

The room is hidden away, in a large basement space. But that only adds to the appeal, which is a throwback to the old speakeasies.

The vibe here is ultra-refined and classy but that doesn't mean that you can't let your hair down and have some fun.

B Flat presents live jazz music every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night. There is never a cover charge and the management knows how to book musicians. Some of the best jazz talent in the city calls B Flat their home away from home.

And they have a spectacular Happy Hour that's guaranteed to chase those workday issues far away.

Just don't look for any big screen HD-TVs to watch your favorite team. This is not that kind of place. B Flat, however, is made for turning date night into a truly memorable experience.

Just saunter down the stairs and the hostess will show you and your love to either a cozy booth or lounge seating by the bar.

When you open up their drinks menu, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection.

In addition to premium French and Italian wines, they carry a wide array of imported Japanese craft beer, as well as an extensive whiskey list.

Cocktails are divided into several helpful categories including Old Fashioned Classics, Fruity and Sparkling, Martinis and non-alcoholic Mocktails.

Straight from Tokyo's sensual night spots is the recipe for one of the bar's most popular cocktails, The Nostalgia Toki High ball. This buzz-inducing drink is comprised of Toki Suntory Japanese whiskey and soda with lemon.

The cool Harlem Dawn is a blend of Maker's Mark whiskey, sweet vermouth, bitters and soda water. The garnish is an orange peel.

Autumn in New York brings big-time refreshment and taste with ingredients such as Calvados, cinnamon syrup and apple bitters. This delicious drink is served with a cinnamon stick and Apple chip.

In the fruity and sparkling category, you can't do better than the outrageous Night and Day, a Bellini that is made with Prosecco and an unbelievable pear compote' puree.

If you are a traditional drinker then go for the classic dry martini. Made with Plymouth gin and Dolin dry vermouth, the drink is served with a huge olive and a scent of lemon.

One of the most refreshing and satisfying drinks, though, on the menu doesn't have even one drop of alcohol in the mix. The Acai Blueberry Mocktail contains both grapefruit and lemon juice, acai, blueberry jam and orange blossom water.

B Flat's exciting food menu is small plate-based and has a decidedly Asian influence.

The Pork belly Kakuni is made with slow simmered Japanese pork and eggs for a differently delicious taste. Other small bites include charcoal grilled Edamame and a vegetable spring roll in black vinegar sauce.

You'll also go wild for the sake steamed clams and the unique avocado potato salad with poached egg and wonton skins.

For heartier appetites indulge your senses with the Teriyaki beef burger or the sliced Washugyu roasted beef that is accompanied by sauteed mushrooms and a Wasabi Ponzu sauce.

One thing is for certain. You won't be singing the blues when you do drinks and dinner at B Flat!

Tribeca Tap House - Tribeca

A convivial place for the local community to gather, the Tribeca Tap House boasts a large variety of, not just craft beers on tap, but seasonal cider and wine, as well.

Mix that in with a fantastic brunch and happy hour and you've got a recipe for success. It's no wonder that the Tap House has won over the hearts of serious drinkers and discerning foodies alike.

This is a quintessential neighborhood bar. If the bartenders don't already know your name, you will soon become fast friends with them. The hospitality is genuine and warm.

Love soccer, football, baseball, basketball and just about every other sport in between? Well, the folks at the Tribeca Tap Room have got you covered with an array of flat screens. Are you from out of town? No problem at all, simply tell the barkeep or waitress who you root for and they will try to find your team's game for you to watch.

When you are cheering on your favorite team you will need the proper fuel. That's where the superb culinary talents of the kitchen come into play.

From house-made mozzarella croquettes and fried artichokes to warm pretzel bites and their sensational five-spice calamari, they've got bites to share that are a cut above the competitions', by far.

Their signature appetizer is the highly original chicken pot pie lollypops. You won't be able to get enough of these wontons that are stuffed with veggies and chicken in a luscious cream sauce.

The kitchen also has some gourmet sandwiches that have your name written all over them! These between the bread temptations include the Flyin' Hawaiian which consists of pineapple glazed ham, homemade coleslaw and Gruyere cheese on hearty country bread.

But, far and away, the sandwich that captures everyone's imagination (and taste buds) is the chicken and beets combo. The freshly baked brioche bun can barely hold the mound of roasted beets and kale that top a juicy pan-seared chicken breast. Add in some goat cheese and there is nothing more you could desire in a sandwich.

Craft beer and fine spirits come together in the thirst-quenching Beertail, a cocktail that will knock your socks off with its' mix of Bulleit bourbon, lemon,house-infused cinnamon agave, a dash of orange bitters and Gun Hill IPA. this brew is served on the rocks. One won't be enough!

The Blueberry Mule consists of Brockman's, a bevy of muddled blueberries, some house-made ginger syrup and club soda.

The Kiss cocktail is as sexy as it sounds with an intoxicating blend of pineapple vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and muddled strawberries.

If you don't already have a reason to come to the Tribeca Tap House, then it's high time you invented one. Good times beckon one and all!
